Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated on Thursday that she dislikes the governments and policies of both President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, while asserting her love for the United States and Israel.

"I love Israel and I hate Netanyahu’s government and his policies. I love America, and I hate Trump’s government and policies," Clinton said during an interview on "Morning Joe." She characterized the current situations in both countries as detrimental.

Clinton also touched on a report from the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, which stated that UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed had warned Netanyahu of an impending Hamas offensive 10 days prior to the October 7, 2023 attacks. Netanyahu's office has denied this report, stating that any relevant information would have been shared through intelligence channels.

Clinton suggested that if the Israeli people choose to re-elect Netanyahu, the United States should adopt a firm stance. She expressed hope that a new Israeli government would address settler violence in the West Bank, emphasizing that such violence is harmful not only to Palestinians but also to Israel's broader society.

"It is not just about the death and destruction of the Palestinians, their property and all the rest of it. Anytime you let people have that level of violence in a society that you don’t stop, that creeps into the whole society," Clinton said. "So it’s unfair, bad and wrong for the Palestinians. And it’s also very dangerous to Israel."

The former Secretary of State also commented on the rise of socialism within the Democratic Party, advocating for party members to clearly defend their positions and focus on legislating and achieving results rather than sloganizing.
