Hilary Swank, 52, Reveals Baby Bump Weeks After Announcing Third Pregnancy
The Oscar-winning actress showcased her pregnancy progress in New York City, shortly after announcing she and her husband, Philip Schneider, are expecting.
Hilary Swank, 52, revealed her growing baby bump for the first time on Thursday, just days after announcing her third pregnancy. The Oscar winner was seen leaving CBS Today wearing a cropped white vest that highlighted her midsection. Swank is expecting her third child with her husband, Philip Schneider, with a due date in December.
She shared her pregnancy news on Wednesday via a TikTok video, participating in a trend where participants tape neon glowsticks onto dark clothing to create a glowing stick-figure. Swank's husband and their two children also appeared in the video, which featured a small glowstick figure over her belly to announce the pregnancy. The actress humorously captioned the video, "A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December."
Swank, who sported lighter hair, told fans her cravings were "Rice Krispies and cheese." This pregnancy follows the birth of her twins, a boy named Ohm and a girl named Aya, whom she welcomed in April 2023 at age 48. She announced that pregnancy in October 2022.
"It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. Happy Easter! Posting from pure Heaven," Swank captioned a photo of herself holding her newborns at the time. She shared an ultrasound image in March 2023, showing one of the twins flexing, referring to it as "Baby A."
The actress married Schneider, a "social venture entrepreneur," in 2018. They reportedly met on a blind date in November 2016. Swank has previously spoken about waiting to have children until she had established her career and found the right partner. "I was having a career and not having the right relationship until … four years ago, and all the elements needed to come together and be right," she told Extra in October 2022.
Swank, known for her Oscar-winning roles in "Boys Don't Cry" and "Million Dollar Baby," grew up in Washington State. She and her mother relocated to California to pursue her acting dreams, at one point living in their car before saving enough for an apartment. Her early career included roles in "The Next Karate Kid" before her breakout performance in 1999.
