Hilary Swank, 52, Announces Pregnancy With Third Child

Actress Hilary Swank, 52, has announced she is pregnant with her third child. She revealed the news on Instagram Wednesday through a video captioned, "A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December."

Swank participated in a TikTok trend, using neon glowsticks to create a glowing stick-figure animation. The video featured her husband and two children, with a small glowstick figure over Swank's belly indicating the pregnancy.

This announcement comes after Swank welcomed twins, a boy and a girl, in April 2023. She shared that news on Easter Sunday with an image of her holding the newborns. "It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. Happy Easter! Posting from pure Heaven," she wrote at the time.

The twins are the first children for Swank and her husband, Philip Schneider, whom she married in 2018. The couple reportedly met on a blind date in November 2016.

In October 2022, Swank first announced her pregnancy with the twins, sharing the news on "Good Morning America" and Instagram. She revealed the due date for the twins fell on her late father's birthday, April 16. Her father, Stephen Michael Swank, died in October 2021.

Hilary Swank and Philip Schneider wed in 2018.

Swank, who won an Academy Award for her role in "Million Dollar Baby," previously discussed waiting to have children. She told "Extra" in October 2022, "I was having a career and not having the right relationship until… four years ago, and all the elements needed to come together and be right."

Swank received support from celebrity friends including Sharon Stone, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Sophia Bush.

Following her announcement, Swank received messages of support from celebrity friends, including Sharon Stone, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Sophia Bush.
