Hilaria Baldwin, a contestant on the FOX series "Nation's Dumbest," has outlined her strategies for maintaining fitness while managing a household of seven children. Her routine includes brief, unconventional workouts and a diet that balances healthy choices with occasional indulgences.
Baldwin, 42, described her fitness regimen to Fox News Digital, emphasizing the importance of daily cardio. "If I can get 30 minutes of my cardio, it helps my mind... It gets me like sort of a little bit more regulated with my nervous system, so I really like that," she stated. She also incorporates yoga and what she calls "bathroom workouts" or "stop-and-drop little workouts," mentioning an affinity for Physique 57 and barre classes.
She has previously shared glimpses of these routines on social media, including demonstrating glute exercises in a bikini. Despite her commitment to fitness, Baldwin clarified that her diet is not exclusively restrictive. "I think people think that I just eat salad all the time, which I’ve definitely done that in the past," she said. "But the other day — the baby of the family, we opened up pints of ice cream, two different pints of ice cream at 9 PM. So, sometimes it looks like that." Baldwin advocates for a balanced approach, adding, "Eat good things and then enjoy. Have the slice of pizza once in a while. Have the ice cream."
When asked about her husband, Alec Baldwin, joining her workouts, she humorously noted his lack of flexibility, joking, "Can’t touch his toes. I literally married the most inflexible person I have ever met."
Beyond fitness, Baldwin also shared insights into her long-standing marriage with Alec Baldwin. "You both have to want to be there," she advised regarding relationship longevity. "Whenever my friends are coming to me, and they’re like it’s a new relationship, or they’re having a bump in it, I say, ‘if both people don’t really want to be there through your difficult moments, through your best moments, then it’s just not going to probably work out.’" She added, "Both Alec and I, through our ups and our downs and our sideways, we’ve wanted to be there. And I think that’s what’s kept us strong."
Hilaria and Alec Baldwin are parents to seven children: daughters Carmen, María, and Ilaria, and sons Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo, and Eduardo. Alec Baldwin also has a daughter, Ireland Baldwin, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger. Ireland became a mother in 2023, making Alec a grandfather.
Baldwin's appearance on "Nation's Dumbest" features her alongside a cast including Carmen Electra, Anthony Michael Hall, and Ice-T. The show, which airs Wednesdays at 9:00 PM ET/PT on FOX, challenges contestants to avoid being named the "dumbest" rather than proving their intelligence.
