High Schoolers Taunt Rivals with Sexually Suggestive Signs Featuring Girlfriends' Photos

Students at a Long Island high school displayed sexually suggestive and demeaning signs targeting the girlfriends of rival football players during a game on Friday, sparking outrage among parents and attendees. The incident occurred during a match between Sachem North and William Floyd.

Some of the signs included photos and names of the William Floyd players' girlfriends, accompanied by vulgar messages. One poster reportedly depicted a player and his girlfriend with the taunting question, "who is easier to score on." Another sign allegedly asked if the players could "touchdown" on the girls after the game.

According to witnesses and parents, school administrators and game officials did not intervene or instruct the students to remove the offensive signs. "Nothing was being done by anyone," stated Paul Horst, whose relatives play for William Floyd, expressing dismay at the lack of response.

The situation escalated when one of the girls featured on a sign approached the group of students responsible for the display to ask them to take it down. A relative of the girl reported that one of the students spat on her, and a minor physical altercation ensued, captured on video viewed by The Post.

Parents have expressed strong disapproval of the students' behavior and the perceived inaction by school officials, demanding that measures be taken to address the incident and prevent future occurrences. The content of the signs has been described as sickening and victimizing towards the young women pictured.
