HGTV stars Daphne and Ian Fig are celebrating the arrival of their baby boy, Adrian. The couple, known for their show "Castle Impossible," shared the news on Instagram, expressing their profound happiness.
"Love has a whole new meaning to us now. We are SMITTEN," the couple stated on their official page. They added, "We feel so loved and supported by everyone in this incredible life experience! Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. We are so blessed to have him happy and healthy in our arms."
The new parents, who have been renovating a 500-year-old French chateau, humorously questioned the availability of "baby-sized power tools," given the ongoing work at their estate. Daphne and Ian have been documenting their renovation efforts on their show, which premiered in April 2025.
"Castle Impossible" returned for another season, focusing on the restoration and sustainability of the Chateau de Lesigny, a 130-acre property. The couple's business ventures, including hosting weddings and events, aim to finance the extensive renovations. Their work has included redeveloping rooms such as a honeymoon suite, tea salon, dungeon tavern, and library, as well as restoring the chateau's gatehouse.
Previously, the Figs had discussed their efforts to make the sprawling estate, located near Paris, more child-friendly. Ian mentioned that while they have a baby-proofed nursery, many other areas of the chateau still require significant work, with exposed nails and torn-out walls.
"Castle Impossible" was among the shows that continued on the network after significant cuts last year, having attracted 14.1 million viewers across linear and streaming platforms for its first season.
