Dramatic footage captured the moment a man accused of assaulting multiple people at a Woolworths supermarket in Banyo, north Brisbane, was tackled to the ground by a bystander. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. on Wednesday when Jude Fincher, 25, allegedly attacked a teenage employee.

According to reports, Fincher approached the employee and struck her in the head with two bottles before continuing the assault on the ground. He was then pulled off the woman and allegedly proceeded to assault three other individuals nearby, including a man in his 70s.

CCTV footage shows a scuffle in the checkout area before Kevin Price, 42, intervened. Price, a father of three, described hearing screams and acting without hesitation. "I had just arrived and was literally, in aisle one and didn't have anything in the trolley and I just heard like screaming from a couple females. And it didn't sound good," Price told The Courier Mail. "It happened really quickly. It was probably all over in just under a minute."

Price crash-tackled the alleged attacker to the floor. Other shoppers assisted in restraining Fincher until police and paramedics arrived.

He is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on September 14.
