A family dog in Connecticut intervened heroically when a black bear cub charged at a 6-year-old boy. The incident, captured on video, shows the young boy playing on the driveway of his home before the bear cub entered the frame.
The dog immediately confronted the bear, engaging it and driving it away from the child. The swift action of the dog prevented the cub from reaching the boy. The encounter highlights the unpredictable nature of wildlife, even in residential areas.
