Television presenter Helen Skelton, 43, recently shared photos from a family holiday in Cornwall, showcasing her in a red swimsuit. Skelton spoke about her experiences in her 40s, expressing a desire for things to be "tighter and perkier" but also acknowledging gratitude for her current situation.

Known for an active lifestyle, Skelton is training for The Great North Run in September, participating in activities like mountain biking, kayaking, and swimming during her holiday. She also mentioned incorporating exercise into everyday moments, such as doing squats while waiting for the kettle to boil, emphasizing that exercise is as much for mental well-being as physical health. "We spend so long acknowledging it's important to look after your mental health, but we don't spend so many conversations saying how you do that," she stated.

Skelton, who has three children, Ernie, Louis, and Elsie, with her ex-husband Richie Myler, has previously discussed the public challenges following her marriage breakdown. She participated in Strictly Come Dancing seven months after her separation, a decision she viewed as taking control of her narrative. Reflecting on a memorable dance performance, she described it as a "revenge dance" and a metaphorical statement to those who doubted her.

Following her time on Strictly, Skelton stepped down from her Sunday show on BBC Radio 5 Live in 2023 to prioritize time with her children. She became a regular co-presenter on BBC's Morning Live later that year. Addressing rumors about her relationship with co-host Gethin Jones, Skelton clarified they are not romantically involved and are simply close friends.
