Helen Flanagan will charge £60 for signed photographs at the upcoming "For The Love of Retro" fan event in Telford on September 5. This pricing comes after the actress, 36, publicly discussed her financial challenges as a single mother.
Flanagan, formerly of Coronation Street, recently sold the family home she shared with ex-partner Scott Sinclair. The Lancashire property was sold for £945,000, significantly below its initial asking price of £1.5 million. Sinclair, a footballer, was the sole registered owner of the house, which he had purchased in June 2021 for £840,000. Flanagan and Sinclair ended their 13-year relationship in 2022 and share three children: Matilda, Delilah, and Charlie.
Following the sale of the home, Flanagan shared in an Instagram video that she had been feeling uncertain about her career path and personal direction amidst significant life changes. She expressed frustration with her work situation, stating a desire to act and find employment. Flanagan also indicated that she was reconsidering plans to buy a home in London, contributing to a sense of instability.
Flanagan has spoken about financial difficulties since her separation from Sinclair, recounting instances of struggling to afford basic expenses for her children. The sale of the family home marked a step in their moving forward, though the final price was substantially lower than anticipated. A dispute also arose over the sale of a £15,000 sofa, which Flanagan listed for £3,950 on Instagram, only for Sinclair to reportedly intervene and block the sale.
During a recent school holiday period, Flanagan described the overwhelming nature of single parenthood, noting that her children's father had not seen them for nearly a month. She shared her emotional state on Instagram, highlighting the demands of managing her children and household, with much of the house still in boxes from the recent move. Flanagan expressed looking forward to a break when the children are with their father and acknowledged the support of her parents.
