Helen Flanagan's son Charlie was taken to hospital, with his ex-partner Scott Sinclair sharing a photo of the five-year-old in a hospital bed on Wednesday. Sinclair referred to his son as his "little soldier" in an Instagram post but did not provide further details about the reason for the hospitalization.
Charlie, who is one of Flanagan and Sinclair's three children, was pictured giving his father a thumbs-up from the hospital bed while wearing an oxygen mask. Sinclair and Flanagan, who were together for 13 years, announced their separation in 2022. They also have two daughters, Matilda, 11, and Delilah, eight.
Flanagan, who has not publicly commented on her son's hospitalization on her own social media, recently shared details about her personal life, including financial challenges and a recent house move. She admitted to feeling unsure about her career path and future living arrangements, considering a move to London. Flanagan also revealed she had been selling items on Vinted due to financial pressures.
Last month, it was reported that the former family home shared by Flanagan and Sinclair in Lancashire was sold for £945,000. The property had initially been listed for £1.5 million. Sinclair reportedly paid for the house in cash and was its sole registered owner. The couple were never married.
Details emerged that a £15,000 sofa had become a point of contention between the former couple after their relationship ended. The house itself was purchased by Sinclair in June 2021 for £840,000, a year before they moved in. Tensions reportedly arose over bills and maintenance for the large property, with Flanagan having invested in renovations.
In contrast to the news about her son, Flanagan recently posted about a girls' trip to Manchester, where she shared photos of her outings and accommodation.
