Helen Flanagan Considers Tattoo Removal Amidst Single Motherhood Challenges

Helen Flanagan recently shared a series of Instagram posts, including modeling a corset and discussing her decision to remove a tiger tattoo. The former Coronation Street star, 36, posted photos in a black corset adorned with red roses and lace, paired with grey jeans and a black blazer.

In another post, Flanagan revealed her intention to remove a tiger tattoo, which she had previously gotten after her split from ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair. The tattoo replaced her engagement ring. Following their breakup in 2022 after 13 years together, Flanagan had initially expressed her liking for the tattoo, but it now appears she is having it removed as it has become less visible.

These updates come after Flanagan candidly shared her difficulties as a single mother during the school holidays. She expressed feeling overwhelmed, particularly with managing her three children—Matilda, 11, Delilah, 8, and Charlie, 5—and the challenges of unpacking and organizing in a new home after moving out of the family residence.

Flanagan detailed instances of children's arguments and the stress of everyday tasks, such as misplacing a house key. She also noted that the children's father, Scott Sinclair, had not seen them for nearly a month, which would allow her a period of rest. Flanagan mentioned looking forward to returning to the gym, attending physiotherapy, and tidying her home, while also expressing a desire to reconnect with friends and find time for herself.

She also spoke about the complexities of parenting three neurodivergent children, including herself, which adds another layer to the challenges of emotional regulation. Flanagan shared that she hoped to get out more during the bank holiday, mentioning Pride as an event she was looking forward to.

The report also touched upon the acrimonious nature of Flanagan's split from Sinclair. A significant point of contention involved their former six-bedroom home, which Flanagan wished to keep for herself and the children, while Sinclair was reportedly insistent on selling it. The property was eventually sold for £945,000, a lower figure than its initial asking price of £1.5 million.

Financial disagreements also arose, including an issue over a £15,000 sofa that Flanagan attempted to sell for £3,950, only for Sinclair to reportedly block the sale. The couple, who were never married, had previously lived in the £840,000 property purchased by Sinclair in June 2021. Amid the property dispute, sources indicated that Sinclair was covering the house's bills and maintenance but felt the large home was too big for Flanagan and the children on her own. He had reportedly offered to buy her a smaller, four-bedroom home and put it in her name, but wanted to cease maintenance payments.

Further tension was highlighted in December when Flanagan publicly criticized Sinclair on Instagram for missing their son Charlie's nativity play due to traveling to Abu Dhabi. Reports suggested Sinclair was embracing a more solitary lifestyle following his split from girlfriend Lauren Davies, while Flanagan balanced her panto work with family life.

Flanagan also shared images of herself in black lingerie with a floral dressing gown, and in a black crop top and trousers, continuing to showcase her figure.
