Cibelle Savella, the child's mother, reportedly shot her daughter Vivian before attempting to take her own life. She was discovered with critical injuries and remains hospitalized. Houston Police have stated that she has yet to be charged with any crime. Vivian was meant to be handed over to her father on Tuesday night, according to police.
