Heidi Montag has released her third album, "Masterpiece," featuring explicitly worded lyrics, and was recently seen filming a music video in Hawaii to promote the project. The album, which dropped on June 26, includes tracks with suggestive and racy themes.
On the song "Summer Love," Montag sings, "You've been going down all day, huh?" and "I go down easy, and you can't get enough." Another track, "Splash," contains the lyrics, "Feel the bass, like the taste / Put me in a chokehold, spit on my face." The song also includes lines such as, "Get the cuffs, I'm a s--t / Hitting high notes, like Mariah does," and "Mommy, mommy, you might need a raincoat / Yeah that tsunami's coming down your throat / Eyes are rolling back, I'm curling up my toes / Thick like Shamu and I'm in the splash zone."
Montag, 39, was photographed in Hawaii wearing a revealing red swimsuit that accentuated her figure while working on a music video. She was attended to by a team who styled her hair and touched up her makeup. Montag has been married to Spencer Pratt since 2008, and the couple has two children.
The promotion for "Masterpiece" began earlier in the year. In January 2026, Pratt alluded to the album's title on their podcast, "The Fame Game." Montag described the album as a bridge between her previous works, "Heidiwood" (2008), which she characterized as hyper-pop, and her debut album "Superficial" (2010), aiming for a more mainstream sound.
Recent singles from Montag include "Step On The Gas" and "Supermodel," released in February, followed by "IV Drip" in May. Her single "Ex Machina" was accompanied by Matrix-inspired artwork. Montag's earlier music experienced a resurgence in streams in the past year following the destruction of her and Pratt's Pacific Palisades home in a devastating wildfire in January 2025. The fire destroyed over 5,000 structures, including their $2.5 million property. In response to the fire, fans rallied by purchasing and streaming her 2010 debut album "Superficial," which, along with its lead single "I'll Do It," reached No. 1 on iTunes in the U.S. Capitalizing on this renewed interest, Montag released a song titled "Prototype" last year.
