Heidi Klum Unveils Elaborate Severed Hand Costume for 25th Halloween Party
The supermodel made a dramatic entrance at her annual New York City celebration dressed as a gruesome, dismembered hand.
Heidi Klum celebrated her 25th annual Halloween party by arriving in a shocking severed hand costume. The elaborate outfit featured a bloody wrist stump, with Klum's head positioned at the center of the hand.
Klum's costume was a replica of her own left hand, complete with her wedding ring and a tattoo on her finger honoring her husband, Tom Kaulitz. The supermodel made a dramatic entrance to the party venue in East Village, New York City, arriving in a truck adorned with red "DANGER" signs. Actors dressed in yellow hazmat suits assisted her as she emerged from the vehicle.
The party, presented by Apothic and Butterfinger, was held at Cathédrale Restaurant at Moxy East Village. Klum's husband, Tom Kaulitz, was not in attendance this year.
Leading up to the event, Klum teased her costume on Instagram, sharing glimpses of prosthetics. She had previously told People that the costume was "very, very bloody" and that "a great glass of red wine is always fun." She also noted that Halloween is about embracing the gory.
Over the years, Klum has become known for her transformative Halloween costumes, often involving extensive prosthetics and makeup. Past memorable looks include Jessica Rabbit, an aged version of herself, and a worm. Last year, she appeared as Medusa, while Kaulitz was dressed as a concrete soldier. Klum has reportedly spent up to 10 hours in a single day being fitted for her elaborate costumes.
