Heidi Klum Teases Gory Halloween Costume with Organ Props
The supermodel shared a cryptic image of what appeared to be human organs just a week before her annual Halloween bash.
Heidi Klum has given fans a stomach-churning glimpse of her upcoming Halloween costume, posting a cryptic Instagram photo on Sunday that featured what appeared to be human organ props. The supermodel, 53, shared the image just one week before her legendary annual Halloween party.
"What's my costume? One week to go…." Klum captioned the photo, accompanied by several Halloween emojis. The post has sparked speculation among her followers, with some guessing she will be dressed as an "autopsy" or a "zombie from The Last of Us." Another fan directly inquired, "Internal organs?"
Klum, known for her elaborate and realistic costumes, previously hinted that this year's outfit would be "very bloody." She told People magazine in an interview, "It goes very well with red wine."
Her annual Halloween party in New York City is a highly anticipated event, with Klum consistently delivering show-stopping transformations. Last year, she embodied Medusa from Clash of the Titans, unrecognizable in a snakeskin costume adorned with rattlesnakes and a long tail. She shared behind-the-scenes glimpses of the transformation, which involved special makeup and colored contacts.
Perhaps her most famous costume to date was in 2022 when she transformed into a remarkably realistic worm. The elaborate costume, created with the help of special effects company Prosthetic Renaissance, completely obscured her features. Her husband, Tom Kaulitz, complemented her costume as a fisherman. Klum later revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that the worm costume was highly uncomfortable, causing claustrophobia and restricting her movement. "It is one thing to add prosthetics to your body — but to be stuck inside the worm body and not really be able to use my arms or feet was not very comfortable," she admitted. Despite the discomfort, she emphasized that "Halloween is not about comfort" but about "transforming and being creative."
Previous notable costumes include E.T. in 2024, a peacock in 2023, an alien, and Princess Fiona from Shrek.
