Heidi Klum Celebrates Daughter Lou's 17th Birthday with Heartfelt Instagram Tribute
The supermodel shared a collection of previously unseen throwback photos and videos honoring her daughter.
Heidi Klum marked her daughter Lou Samuel's 17th birthday on Friday with a touching public tribute on Instagram, sharing a carousel of previously unseen photographs and video clips of Lou and her siblings from their younger years.
Klum, 53, captioned the post, "Happy 17th birthday my darling Lou. I love you so very much and I am so proud of you and everything you do," adding, "Where has all the time gone?"
The collection included an intimate shot of Klum holding newborn Lou, as well as images of her other children: Leni, 22; Henry, 21; and Johan, 19. Photos featured the siblings in various stages of childhood, including Leni bottle-feeding baby Lou, one of her sons embracing Klum's baby bump, and shared moments with Klum's mother, Erna Klum.
Other nostalgic images depicted family moments such as mealtime gatherings, Halloween celebrations, and birthdays where the children wore matching fuchsia outfits. A playful snapshot showed Klum and Lou enjoying time in the ocean on a beach float, and video clips captured Lou as a young child practicing dance moves and receiving attention from her older brother.
Earlier in the week, Klum treated Lou to a trip to Paris Fashion Week as an early birthday present. The mother-daughter duo attended the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Spring/Summer 2027 show, where they were seated front row, and also visited the Business of Fashion-hosted BoF 500 Gala.
Klum, who is married to Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz, is known for her generosity towards her family. Last month, she gifted her son Henry a red Ferrari F430 for his 21st birthday, a surprise that left Henry visibly stunned.
The Ferrari gift was reportedly connected to a video game bet made years prior. Klum explained that Kaulitz had promised Henry a Ferrari upon turning 21 if he lost a Mario Kart bet made seven years earlier when Henry was 14. The bet stipulated that if Henry lost, he would forfeit video game privileges for three months and give Kaulitz a painting of himself driving. If Henry won, Kaulitz would owe him a Ferrari.
