Heather Graham Dazzles in Sheer Lace at Premiere of Horror Film 'What Happened to Doris?'
The 56-year-old actress showcased her physique and discussed her approach to aging and beauty at the Fantastic Fest premiere.
Actress Heather Graham, 56, made a striking appearance at Fantastic Fest on Sunday for the premiere of her new horror film, "What Happened to Doris?" The star drew attention in a sheer black lace dress that revealed black lingerie underneath, highlighting her toned physique. The event took place at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar theater in Austin, Texas.
Graham styled her honey blonde hair in soft curls and opted for a minimalist makeup look, emphasizing her natural beauty. To complement her statement dress, she wore no jewelry or accessories. She recently returned from France, where she was filming season four of "The White Lotus."
"What Happened to Doris?" is set to premiere in theaters on Thursday, October 1. The film is described as a horror flick taking place in the suburbs of Los Angeles in 1974. It follows a single mother who experiences violent attacks by an invisible entity. The synopsis notes that when she is not believed, she seeks help from paranormal investigators, leading to a documented supernatural case.
In a March interview with US Weekly, Graham discussed her beauty philosophy and approach to cosmetic procedures. She stated that she prefers less invasive treatments and has not undergone facial surgery, though she does not completely rule out the possibility as she ages. Graham has explored procedures such as microneedling, Botox, Ultherapy, Thermage, Sofwave, and Morpheus8, emphasizing consistency over specific treatments. She finds some laser treatments to be uncomfortable, describing an hour and a half of facial treatment as "torture."
Graham expressed a desire to "look natural" and has moved away from fillers in favor of laser treatments. She voiced concerns about some plastic surgery outcomes, aiming to avoid appearing "freaky." The actress also shared her belief that embracing aging naturally is preferable to the results of some cosmetic surgeries, appreciating the availability of less extreme options.
Beyond her beauty regimen, Graham also credits sleep, meditation, a balanced diet, and a gentle form of intermittent fasting for her well-being. She prioritizes health and self-care above her career, stating, "Career is important, but if you don't have your health, you don't have anything. I'm lucky to be alive and healthy. That's No. 1, over my career and over everything else."
