Hayden Panettiere was honored by her celebrity friends at a memorial service held in Malibu, California, on Saturday. Stars including Paris Hilton, and Panettiere’s "Nashville" co-stars Connie Britton and Charles Esten were in attendance at the celebration of life, which took place at a local church.

Other notable guests included Evan Ross, Jonathan Jackson, and Lennon Stella. A source described the gathering as “emotional and beautiful,” beginning with the release of doves outside the church. Inside, guests moved to a venue where a band was set up, and Britton and Esten delivered speeches. Esten also performed a song from their show, "Nashville."

Panettiere’s mother, Leslie Vogel, reportedly did not attend the service, while her father, Skip, was present. Panettiere's on-off boyfriend Brian Hickerson and his brother Zach acknowledged their absence from the memorial. According to TMZ, the brothers understand why they were not included in the invitation list for the actress's celebration of life.
