Hayden Christensen's Daughter Briar Rose Makes Red Carpet Debut
The 11-year-old accompanied her father to the opening of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.
Hayden Christensen's 11-year-old daughter, Briar Rose, made her public debut on the red carpet at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art Opening Night in Los Angeles on Saturday. She attended the event with Christensen, who posed for photos with her as they held hands.
Briar Rose, whose mother is actress Rachel Bilson, wore a white dress and strappy flats. Christensen, known for his role as Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, opted for a navy blue blazer over a gray t-shirt and dark jeans. The museum was co-founded by director George Lucas, who directed Christensen in the Star Wars films.
Christensen told E! News at the event that it was special to share the occasion with his daughter. "We're very happy to be here, and it's a real treat to get to share this with my daughter," he said.
Briar Rose shared her thoughts on seeing her father portray the iconic villain Darth Vader, stating, "It was really cool when I saw him up there."
Christensen and Bilson, who began dating after meeting on the set of "Jumper" in 2008, became engaged in 2009 and welcomed Briar Rose in October 2014. The couple separated in 2017 after nearly a decade together. Bilson has previously described their co-parenting relationship as "great" and "copacetic."
