Hassan Whiteside's Miami Mansion Back on Market for Fourth Time

NBA veteran Hassan Whiteside's modernist waterfront mansion in Miami Beach has gone under contract for sale for the fourth time since May, according to recent reports. The six-bedroom property is currently listed at $14.8 million.

This latest asking price represents a significant reduction from its initial listing of $19.5 million in January 2025. The price was later lowered to $15.8 million before reaching its current valuation, a total decrease of about 24 percent from the original price.

The estate, located at 528 Lakeview Court, was built in 2014 and offers 5,406 square feet of living space on a 0.41-acre lot. It features approximately 90 feet of waterfront frontage, a 45-foot dock, and three Jet Ski slips with direct ocean access.

Inside, the tri-level home includes expansive living and dining areas, hardwood and marble floors, custom cabinetry, and a chef's kitchen with Wolf and Miele appliances. A built-in aquarium is among the property's unique features. The primary suite opens onto a private terrace and boasts a spa-inspired bathroom and a large walk-in closet.

Inside, the tri-level property features expansive living and dining areas, rich hardwood and marble floors, custom cabinetry and a chef’s kitchen equipped with high-end Wolf and Miele appliances.

Entertainment amenities include a home theater, a gym, a custom bar, and a rooftop lounge with a fire pit and television. Outdoor features include a resort-style swimming pool with a waterfall, a summer kitchen, and multiple entertaining areas.

Whiteside purchased the Miami Beach residence in 2016 for $7.3 million, more than doubling his original investment at the current asking price. The gated estate is situated in Miami Beach's Lakeview neighborhood, offering a private setting away from tourist areas.

The property's location may have appealed to Whiteside during his five seasons with the Miami Heat between 2014 and 2019. The seven-foot center also played for the Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, and Utah Jazz before concluding his NBA career in 2022. He later played for the Shanghai Sharks in the Chinese Basketball Association for the 2025-26 season.

The location may have held particular appeal for Whiteside during his years playing for the Miami Heat.

The pending sale was the second-priciest residential contract among properties asking $4 million or more in Miami-Dade County between October 5 and October 11, according to Douglas Elliman's Eklund-Gomes team. The market for luxury properties in the area has seen buyers taking more time to commit, with the average property in a recent batch spending 192 days on the market.

In terms of its location, Miami Beach’s Lakeview neighborhood offers a more secluded slice of South Florida living, away from the hustle and bustle of the city’s busiest tourist areas.

The listing agents for the property are Joel Lusky of The Brokerage South Florida Real Estate, LLC, and Jordan Karp of Jordan Karp, LLC. Whether this fourth attempt will result in a completed sale remains to be seen, as the property is still under contract.
