Harry Styles Engages in Heated Confrontation with Persistent Fan in NYC
The pop star was filmed arguing with an individual who repeatedly followed him on a New York City street.
Pop superstar Harry Styles was involved in a heated exchange with an autograph seeker on a New York City street Wednesday. Videos obtained by TMZ show the man trailing the singer, who was attempting to maintain a low profile while wearing a hoodie and baseball cap and listening to music through earbuds.
The autograph seeker persistently tried to gain Styles' attention. Initially, the Grammy winner appeared to keep his composure, but a second video captured the two men yelling and gesturing at each other.
At one point, a third individual intervened, stepping between Styles and the fan who was holding a copy of the singer's album "Fine Line." This person seemed to be attempting to de-escalate the situation. As Styles attempted to walk away, the fan continued to follow him.
Page Six has reached out to Styles' representatives for comment.
Styles has been a frequent presence in New York City recently, often traveling from Brooklyn, where his fiancée Zoë Kravitz resides, to Madison Square Garden for his residency. While he typically tries to remain incognito with hats and sunglasses, he has previously been observed engaging in more amicable interactions with fans and autograph seekers in the city.
His 30-night residency at Madison Square Garden commenced on August 26 and is scheduled to conclude on Halloween. The singer announced the event in January as part of his "Love On Tour."
