Harrison Ford, 83, was observed enjoying a solo bike ride in Los Angeles while shirtless on a recent Saturday. The actor, known for his roles in the Indiana Jones and Star Wars franchises, maintained his active routine amid warm weather.
During his outing, Ford wore a fitted black tank top and black shorts, revealing muscular arms. He accessorized with ankle socks, sneakers, and sunglasses. At one point, he put on a white shirt from his backpack before continuing his ride. He was also seen wearing a white helmet while riding his black bicycle.
Ford has previously spoken about his commitment to fitness, emphasizing training for injury prevention. "I believe in training for injury prevention more than anything else. I'm an old fart and I need to protect myself," he stated, according to Men's Health.
His fitness regimen includes playing tennis, cycling, and gym work. In the past, he mentioned that his diet primarily consists of fish and vegetables. Ford also expressed a positive outlook on aging, stating, "I don't want to be young again... I was young, and now I enjoy being old."
He described the benefits of aging as "richness of experience" and a "certain ease." Ford, who is set to turn 84 on July 13, has no immediate plans to retire from acting, noting the demand for older actors to play older characters.
In March, Ford received the Life Achievement honor at the 32nd Annual Actor Awards, where he reflected on his career. He acknowledged the support of individuals like George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. "Lucky to have found my people, lucky to have work that challenges me, lucky to still be doing it. And I don't take that for granted," he said.
Ford's extensive filmography includes "Apocalypse Now," "Blade Runner," and "The Fugitive." He also stars as Paul in the Apple TV+ series "Shrinking," with production underway for its fourth season. Ford has been married to actress Calista Flockhart since 2010.
