Harper Beckham marked her brother Romeo's 24th birthday with a public display of affection, calling him her "role model" and expressing deep admiration in a message shared on social media.
The youngest of the Beckham children, Harper, joined her siblings and parents, Victoria and David Beckham, in celebrating Romeo. Her tribute, however, highlighted the ongoing estrangement from their eldest brother, Brooklyn.
"Today is all about celebrating you, and I hope you know how loved and appreciated you are," Harper wrote to Romeo, accompanying the message with a selfie of the two. "You'll always be one of the biggest role models in my life, and I'll forever look up to you and everything you are. I'm so lucky to have you as my brother, and I genuinely don't know what I'd do without you."
Victoria Beckham, also known as Posh Spice, reposted Harper's message, stating it "melts my heart." Harper maintains close relationships with both Romeo and her brother Cruz, who recently performed with his band at Reading Festival. Cruz had previously dedicated a song to "my little sister" during a performance, underscoring their bond.
Brooklyn Beckham, 27, was notably absent from the birthday tributes. He has been publicly estranged from his parents and siblings for over a year. Earlier in the year, Harper's attempt to reconnect with Brooklyn at his Los Angeles home was reportedly rebuffed when no one answered her visit, and she had to leave a letter.
The rift reportedly intensified after paparazzi photographed Harper outside Brooklyn's home, leading him to accuse his parents of orchestrating the photo opportunity. This incident followed a period where Brooklyn blocked his parents on Instagram and his legal team communicated with the Beckhams' representatives.
In January, Brooklyn confirmed the family estrangement in a statement, declaring he was no longer part of "Brand Beckham" and characterizing his family members as "performative." Sources close to the family have indicated that Harper is deeply saddened by the situation, particularly as Brooklyn has not communicated with her directly since before the feud became public.
According to reports, Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, also did not attend David Beckham's 50th birthday celebrations. While Brooklyn's representatives have suggested he may be avoiding contact to protect Harper from a difficult situation, friends of his parents have dismissed this as an "insulting excuse."
