Harki Bhambra, known for his role in the BBC comedy "Two Doors Down," has married his long-term partner, Abi Rice. The couple exchanged vows in a legal ceremony in London on Monday, with Bhambra sharing images from the event.

Bhambra, who portrayed Jaz in the first two series of "Two Doors Down," wore a cream suit for the occasion. He and Rice signed their marriage license and posed for photos afterward. The actor later posted pictures from the celebration on Instagram, where he received numerous congratulatory messages.

Before his role in "Two Doors Down," which premiered in 2013, Bhambra appeared in the BBC drama "Good Karma Hospital" as a surgeon. He has also had roles in "Our Girl" and "Call the Midwife."

"Two Doors Down," set in a Glasgow suburb, follows the lives of families on Latimer Crescent. The series stars Alex Norton and Arabella Weir as the central couple, alongside Elaine C Smith, Jonathan Watson, and Doon Mackichan. The comedy won a BAFTA Scotland Award for Best Comedy in 2017 and 2024.

The show returned for a one-off Christmas special in 2023, following the death of co-writer Simon Carlyle. In May, it was confirmed that "Two Doors Down" would be renewed for another series. Jon Petrie, BBC Director of Comedy, stated that the team continues to create a world audiences love, crediting the talent and commitment behind the show. A BBC statement highlighted the series' blend of character comedy and domestic situations, promising a return to the familiar world of Latimer Crescent for the new series, which is set and filmed in Glasgow.
