Harki Bhambra, known for his role in the BBC comedy "Two Doors Down," has married his long-term partner, Abi Rice. Bhambra shared photos from their London ceremony on Monday, marking a significant personal milestone.

The couple exchanged vows in a legal ceremony in the capital, with Bhambra opting for a sharp cream suit for the occasion. He had previously tied the knot earlier this year but chose Monday to share the celebratory photos on Instagram.

Bhambra is recognized for his portrayal of Jaz, Ian's boyfriend, during the initial two seasons of "Two Doors Down" before his departure in 2016. His acting career also includes appearances in the BBC drama "The Good Karma Hospital" as Dr. Samir Hasan, as well as roles in "Our Girl" and "Call the Midwife."

"Two Doors Down," which premiered on BBC Two in 2013, chronicles the lives of a couple, Eric and Beth Baird, navigating their family and neighbors in a middle-class Glasgow suburb. The Scottish BAFTA-winning comedy also features the White and O'Neal families on Latimer Crescent. The series stars Alex Norton and Arabella Weir as the central couple, alongside Elaine C Smith, Jonathan Watson, and Doon Mackichan.

The show last aired a one-off special on Christmas, following the tragic passing of co-writer Simon Carlyle at age 48. In May, it was confirmed that "Two Doors Down" would return for another series, a decision welcomed by fans. Jon Petrie, BBC Director of Comedy, expressed pride in the show's continued success and its ability to create a world that audiences connect with.

"With its trademark blend of sharp character comedy and domestic disaster, the new series, set and filmed in Glasgow, drops us right back into the wonderfully claustrophobic and painfully familiar world of Latimer Crescent," a BBC statement read. The sitcom has garnered a substantial audience, with initial viewership of 1.3 million growing to 2.8 million by its most recent series finale. It has also received critical acclaim, earning RTS Scotland Awards for Best Comedy in 2017 and 2024, and BAFTA Scotland awards for acting in 2018 and 2024.
