Hard Mountain Dew has announced a $1 million prize for anyone who can provide definitive evidence of Bigfoot's existence. The company stated in a press release that paranormal investigators must meet rigorous standards to claim the "Bigfoot Bounty."
The contest requires submissions to include "irrefutable" evidence, such as footprints, handprints, and hair samples from the creature. Photographic and audio evidence are also necessary components for a chance at the grand prize. A spokesperson for the company emphasized that the contest is timed to coincide with peak Bigfoot sighting season, typically occurring in the fall as cooler weather encourages more outdoor activity and creates optimal conditions for tracking.
In addition to the primary evidence requirements, the company specified that photographic submissions must include a "photobomb" picture featuring the creature. The contest is open to individuals aged 21 and older and will conclude on November 30.
Hard Mountain Dew indicated that even if the full bounty is not claimed, the company will still award cash prizes to those who submit compelling, though not entirely conclusive, evidence of Bigfoot. This initiative aims to demonstrate the brand's commitment to backing the myth with tangible reward opportunities.
