New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh found himself on the receiving end of an enthusiastic tackle from running back Devin Singletary during a jubilant on-field celebration following the team's 27-21 overtime victory against the Houston Texans.

The pair fell to the ground amid the celebrations after Singletary's game-winning touchdown, before being engulfed by other players and coaches. The win propelled the Giants to a 4-2-1 record in Harbaugh's first season at the helm and sent the team into their bye week on a high note.

Harbaugh, who later joked about his balance after the incident, described the moment with a smile. "I got tackled on the field. I’m a little disappointed in my balance," he told reporters, adding that there was also dancing in the locker room.

The Giants' ground game was a significant factor in the victory, with the team's three running backs – Singletary, Cam Skattebo, and Tyrone Tracy Jr. – combining for 180 of the team's 188 rushing yards. Skattebo's 42-yard run in overtime set up the Giants at the Texans' 30-yard line, paving the way for Singletary's decisive touchdown.

Harbaugh credited the running backs' performance as the "story" of the game, especially after he had challenged them following the previous week's loss to New Orleans. "To me, that’s the point. It tells you who they are," Harbaugh stated. "You might have thought before the game, we’re going to find out about our guys. We’re going to find out who they are, and we did. And you saw it. They took the bull by the horns and they got the job done."
