Harbaugh's Influence Fuels Giants' Strong Start

The New York Giants have achieved a 3-1 start to the season, placing them in sole possession of first place in the NFC East, a success attributed in large part to the influence of head coach John Harbaugh. His coaching philosophy appears to be setting a standard that the team is actively meeting.

An example of this standard is demonstrated by defensive back Deonte Banks. In a recent game, Banks made a game-sealing interception that he returned for a 98-yard touchdown. During this play, he reached a speed of 21.85 mph, the fastest recorded for any ball carrier in the NFL this season according to NextGen Stats. Safety Jevón Holland noted that Banks' performance and confidence are a testament to the defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson and Harbaugh himself.

"I think that’s a testament to coach Dennard Wilson and Harbs really instilling that confidence in him,'' Holland told The Post. "They trust him and right behind them is us saying the same thing to him."

Harbaugh's impact is visible across the team as players seem to be performing at a high level, meeting the expectations set by the coaching staff. This collective effort and adherence to the established standards are contributing to the Giants' current leading position in their division.
