Mazal Tazazo, a survivor of the October 7 Hamas terror attacks in Israel, has sharply criticized New York City Mayor Eric Adams's advisor Zohran Mamdani over a video Mamdani released that labeled Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a "war criminal." Tazazo described the video as "dangerous."
Mamdani, who serves as deputy commissioner for strategic initiatives in the Adams administration, posted the video on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday. In the video, Mamdani is seen walking through a crowd and engaging with people while questioning their support for Netanyahu. The video intersperses clips of Mamdani speaking with footage of the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
Tazazo, who was present during the Hamas attacks, expressed her outrage in a social media post of her own, directly addressing Mamdani. She stated that his actions were offensive and harmful, particularly given the ongoing trauma experienced by victims and survivors of the attacks. She emphasized that such rhetoric can incite further hatred and violence.
