Halle Berry celebrated her 60th birthday with a luxurious getaway in Los Cabos, Mexico. The actress shared photos of her celebration at Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, where she enjoyed a beachfront dinner with her partner, Van Hunt.

Berry took to Instagram to share moments from her birthday, expressing gratitude for the experience. "Some experiences stay with you forever!" she wrote. "Thank you @zadunreserve @ritzcarltonreserve for making every moment of my 60th birthday celebration simply magical!"

Ahead of her birthday, Berry spoke about her perspective on aging, describing it as a "privilege." She shared in a June interview on the TODAY show, "I feel different than I thought I would feel at 60. You know, what is 60? What is age anymore? It's a feeling. I feel stronger, smarter, wiser, more myself, more in control, I'm the best version of myself at the moment and I'm so glad that I'm still here and healthy."

Berry has also become an advocate for menopause and perimenopause awareness, aiming to combat the feeling of being "marginalized" and "devalued" as women age in Hollywood and society. "But I have adamantly decided I am not going to allow myself to be erased. That's why I'm on my menopause mission. I'm going to be louder than I have ever been," she told The Cut.

To manage her symptoms, including brain fog and exhaustion, Berry has modified her diet and incorporated strength training. She adheres to a strict ketogenic diet, which has also aided in managing her diabetes, a condition diagnosed at age 22. This dietary approach involves high-fat, low-carbohydrate meals, and has led her to give up sugar and bread.

Her fitness regimen includes working out five days a week, incorporating yoga, strength training, cardio, and martial arts. Following menopause, she shifted her focus to weightlifting to build muscle mass, a change from her previous routine of cardio and bodyweight exercises. "Right now, I'm trying to put muscle mass on, so I lift weights now, and I never used to lift weights before," she stated, emphasizing the necessity of this change for her current stage of life.
