Haitian Gang Member Who Yelled 'Biden Forever' During Arrest Deported
Wisteguens Jean Quely Charles, who expressed support for President Biden and animosity toward then-President Trump during his arrest, has been deported to Haiti after nearly two years in federal custody.
A Haitian gang member and undocumented immigrant who gained notoriety for shouting "Biden forever" during his arrest by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been deported to Haiti. Wisteguens Jean Quely Charles was removed from the United States on an ICE flight departing from Louisiana, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed.
DHS stated that Charles was extremely disruptive during the flight, making profane and threatening remarks about former President Donald Trump and his family. An image obtained by Fox News shows Charles aboard the deportation aircraft.
Charles' deportation marks a reversal from his arrest on Jan. 22, 2025, in Massachusetts, where he was captured on Fox News cameras declaring, "I’m not going back to Haiti." He also stated, "F--k Trump," and added, "Biden forever bro."
Charles, identified by DHS as a member of the Back Block Money Gang, had accumulated 17 criminal convictions. These included charges for assault and battery on a public employee, resisting arrest, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, drug possession with intent to distribute, possession of controlled substances, carrying a dangerous weapon, carrying ammunition without a firearm identification card, and trespassing.
He remained in federal custody for approximately 19 months following his arrest while his immigration case progressed. An immigration judge issued a final order of removal for Charles on Nov. 7, 2025.
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin criticized the immigration policies of previous administrations, stating, "This illegal alien gang member from Haiti had quite the rap sheet." He commended the Trump administration for carrying out Charles' removal, emphasizing, "if you’re here illegally, we will find you, arrest you, and remove you from the United States of America."
According to DHS, Charles initially received Temporary Protected Status (TPS) in February 2013 during the Obama administration and was admitted to the U.S. in July of that year. His TPS was terminated by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in July 2022.
A White House spokesperson stated that "This gang member and criminal illegal alien loved Obama, Biden, and open-border Democrats who let him enter our country with TPS and allowed him to terrorize American citizens." The spokesperson added, "Thanks to the Trump administration, he is now off our streets and back in Haiti."
