Hairy Bikers' Si King Finds Happiness with New Partner After Friend's Death

Milly Witcomb, the interior designer girlfriend of Hairy Bikers star Si King, has shared details about their relationship, describing their connection as one of happiness and mutual affection. Witcomb's comments come after King had publicly credited her with helping him navigate the grief following the death of his long-time friend and culinary collaborator, Dave Myers.

Myers, King's co-star on the popular Hairy Bikers series, died in February 2024 after a battle with cancer. King, 59, had spoken openly about the profound impact of Myers' passing, admitting to feeling socially adrift in the months that followed.

"He is lovely," Witcomb said of King in an interview. "We've actually been seeing each other for quite a while now." She added that she prefers to maintain a lower profile, allowing King to navigate public attention. The relationship was first alluded to last weekend when Witcomb was identified only by her first name in an interview. She has since been identified as Caroline Witcomb, a 62-year-old designer and property manager from Staffordshire. She has one adult daughter.

Milly Witcomb's daughter, Olivia, has shared images of the couple on social media, including snapshots from a trip to Tuscany, Italy, and visits to locations like Lilidorei, a play village in Alnwick Garden, Northumberland. These posts provide glimpses of the couple enjoying activities together, including a New Year's Eve outing where both appeared to be in high spirits.

King, who was married to Jane Dodd for 27 years before their separation in 2016, cited career demands as a factor in their divorce. He and Dodd share three adult sons: Alex, James, and Dylan. King's relationship with Witcomb appears to have the support of his family, with him stating that his sons and ex-wife are happy for him.

Myers and King were known for their extensive collaboration, presenting more than 30 television series and specials and co-authoring 27 cookbooks. The final series they worked on together, 'The Hairy Bikers Go West,' was broadcast around the time of Myers' death. King has continued to reflect on the grieving process, describing it as a complex and often surprising experience. He discussed his feelings of guilt during the filming of their last show, noting the difficulty of continuing his work without his friend present. In a March appearance on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs, King described his grief as a "plethora of emotions," including confusion, anger, and a sense of abandonment.
