Gypsy Rose Blanchard Shares Tributes to Late Fiancé Ken Urker
Blanchard posted personal photos and videos of Urker and their daughter, remembering him as her 'greatest love story' and a devoted father.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard has shared a collection of personal photographs and videos honoring her late fiancé, Ken Urker. The posts, shared on Instagram, feature intimate moments between Blanchard, Urker, and their daughter, Aurora. Blanchard described Urker as her "greatest love story" and emphasized his enduring love for their child.
One of the shared images captures Urker smiling at a restaurant, while another shows the couple expressing their affection for each other with Snapchat filters. A video also depicts Urker engaging playfully with their baby daughter, Aurora Raina, whom they welcomed in December 2024. The family is seen using a cat filter on Snapchat in the clip.
In a statement accompanying the posts, Blanchard reflected on Urker's passing, stating, "He will forever be my soulmate and my red string, a connection that time, distance, and even death can never erase." She also addressed the public scrutiny and cyberbullying Urker allegedly faced, suggesting it had a significant impact on his well-being. "I believe the tremendous weight of that scrutiny and harassment had a profound impact on him, and I hope his passing serves as a reminder that there is a real person behind every screen, every headline, and every comment."
Blanchard stated that she believes Urker died of an overdose, though she noted she had never seen him use drugs previously. She also mentioned that a substance was found at the scene, according to TMZ. Officials have not yet officially released the cause of Urker's death.
Blanchard and Urker began their relationship as pen pals in 2017 while Blanchard was incarcerated for her involvement in her mother's murder. They became engaged in 2018, broke up for a period, but eventually rekindled their romance. Blanchard had previously been married to Ryan Anderson, whom she divorced in 2024. Shortly before Aurora's birth, Blanchard confirmed Urker was the father of her child.
