Gypsy-Rose Blanchard's Prison Calls About Baby Daddy Ken Urker Unearthed
Audio recordings capture Blanchard discussing her relationship with Urker, who died at 34.
Chilling audio recordings from Gypsy-Rose Blanchard's time in prison reveal conversations about her baby daddy, Ken Urker, who died at the age of 34. In the unearthed phone calls, Blanchard, now 35, could be heard expressing a wish for Urker to overdose.
Urker was found dead in his Louisiana home on October 1, his 34th birthday. No official cause of death has been released. Urker's sister, Autumn, has pushed back against narratives suggesting her brother's suspected overdose was intentional.
Blanchard, who was released from prison in December 2023, was serving time for the 2015 second-degree murder of her mother, Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard. Blanchard and Urker rekindled their relationship in 2024 and welcomed a daughter that year.
During her incarceration, Blanchard was married to Ryan Anderson, whom she divorced after her release. The prison phone calls were made while she was behind bars, prior to Urker's death.
