Gypsy Rose Blanchard's Late Partner's Family Expresses Disgust
Family of Ken Urker claims Blanchard has not reached out and disputes her account of his death.
The family of Ken Urker, the late partner of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, has voiced strong disapproval of Blanchard following Urker's death. Autumn Urker, Ken's sister, stated in an interview with the Daily Mail that her family is "disgusted" with Blanchard, particularly because Blanchard has not contacted them since Ken's passing.
"She hasn’t even called my mother or any of us yet," Autumn told the outlet, expressing frustration with Blanchard's public statements. She described her brother as a "great man" who was loving and supportive, emphasizing his dedication to Blanchard. "He tried so hard for Gypsy because he was that [kind of] person," she added.
Autumn Urker has also accused Blanchard of misrepresenting the circumstances surrounding Ken Urker's death. In an interview with The US Sun, Autumn claimed Blanchard lied about the timeline of his death, specifically disputing Blanchard's assertion that she discovered him after he failed to respond to a birthday text. Autumn also alleged that Blanchard had been falsely claiming they were engaged and planning a second child.
Blanchard and Urker shared a 1-year-old daughter, Aurora Raina, born in December 2024. However, Autumn Urker stated that the couple had separated over a month prior to Ken's death, and that it was Ken who initiated the breakup.
Ken Urker was found deceased in his Louisiana home on his 34th birthday. Authorities reported finding drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a handgun at the scene. A 911 dispatch log indicated that Urker had reportedly threatened suicide shortly before his death.
In the immediate aftermath of Urker's death, Blanchard had told People that she suspected he died of an overdose, stating, "He was not in a good state of mind lately." She shared a tribute on her Instagram Stories, accompanied by photos of Urker with their daughter, calling him her "soulmate."
