Gypsy Rose Blanchard Involved in Minor Car Crash in Louisiana
The incident occurred weeks after the death of her ex-fiancé, Ken Urker.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard was involved in a minor car accident Saturday in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana, authorities confirmed. The crash resulted in no reported injuries or arrests, and only minor property damage.
According to reports, the sun in Blanchard's eyes was a contributing factor to the collision, which took place at an intersection. A social media post from an individual in Houma, Louisiana, indicated they were sideswiped by Blanchard.
The accident follows the recent death of Blanchard's ex-fiancé, Ken Urker, who died on Oct. 1, his 34th birthday. Urker was found deceased at his Raceland, Louisiana, home after a welfare check was requested. Reports suggest his death was due to an overdose, and drug paraphernalia and a handgun were found at the scene.
Blanchard and Urker shared a 1-year-old daughter, Aurora Raina. Prior to Urker's death, Blanchard had shared private text messages with him to Page Six, refuting rumors of a custody battle over Aurora. The texts indicated they were discussing custody arrangements amicably and without legal intervention.
Earlier this month, Blanchard had shared with Page Six that she had an unknowing final encounter with Urker in September when she surprised him with a food delivery, describing it as a "lighthearted, thoughtful, and filled with kindness" memory.
However, past communication revealed in audio recordings obtained by the Daily Mail indicated Blanchard had expressed in prison phone calls with her then-boyfriend, Ryan Anderson, that she "hoped" Urker would overdose, nearly six years before his death.
