Gypsy-Rose Blanchard Accused of Lying About Relationship Status Before Ex-Fiancé's Death

Ken Urker's sister, Autumn Urker, has accused Gypsy-Rose Blanchard of fabricating details about her relationship with Urker following his death on his 34th birthday. Urker was discovered unresponsive at his home in Louisiana on Thursday, and his official cause of death is currently unknown.

Blanchard, who previously served time for the murder of her mother, has publicly stated she believes Urker died from an overdose and that they were still engaged and planning for a second child. However, Autumn Urker asserts that these claims are false, stating that Blanchard is spreading lies since her brother's passing.

"They were not together," Autumn told The US Sun, adding that the couple had separated over a month prior, with Ken Urker being the one to end the relationship. Autumn described Blanchard's narrative as a "slap in the face" and stated that Blanchard had "no right to lie."

Autumn recounted her last conversation with her brother, which took place around midnight on the day of his birthday, ending with mutual declarations of love. She stated that her brother had been experiencing distress due to cyberbullying following the release of a prison phone call between him and Blanchard.

Police records obtained by The US Sun indicated that an unofficial cause of death for Urker was an overdose. He was found in his bedroom with a handgun nearby. Syringes containing a "brown powdery substance" were reportedly found in the bathroom and on a nightstand. Autumn Urker characterized her brother's death as accidental, stating the family possesses further details they are not yet prepared to release.

Urker was discovered by Blanchard's half-brother, Dylan Blanchard, and his wife, Anita, who checked on him after he failed to show up for work. Dylan Blanchard and Urker's boss, Justin Daigle, entered the bedroom through an unlocked window and found Urker unresponsive.

Blanchard and Urker shared a one-year-old daughter, Aurora. Their relationship began while Blanchard was serving her seven-year prison sentence. Urker proposed in 2018, but the couple separated months later. Blanchard was released from prison in December 2023 and reunited with Urker in 2024.

In a statement to TMZ, Blanchard described Urker as her "soulmate and my red string" and asserted he had faced "an unimaginable level of public scrutiny" and "cruelty" due to their relationship. She vowed to ensure their daughter would know her father's love beyond the online commentary.

Blanchard's ex-husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, has publicly defended her, stating he does not believe she had any involvement in Urker's death. He acknowledged that law enforcement might investigate due to Blanchard's previous conviction but expressed shock at the possibility of her involvement.
