Fox News political analyst Guy Benson and his husband, Adam Wise, have welcomed a baby girl into their family. The couple announced the birth of their daughter, Madison Halsey, on social media Monday, sharing that she was born on July 15.

Benson shared photos of himself with the newborn, writing, "She's here and she's perfect. We are blessed and overjoyed to welcome Madison Halsey into the world and into our family. Our hearts are filled to the brim. A baby girl. We are just so thankful."

Several colleagues from Fox News, including Emily Compagno, Alicia Acuna, Martha MacCallum, and Maria Bartiromo, offered congratulations. Conservative figures Nikki Haley and Meghan McCain also extended well wishes.

This is the couple's second child. Benson and Wise welcomed a son via surrogate on November 25, 2023.

Benson, a political pundit who appears on Fox News opinion panel show 'The Five,' publicly came out as gay in May 2015. He shared his decision to disclose his sexual orientation in a footnote in his book, "End of Discussion," explaining it was important from a journalistic perspective to be transparent when discussing gay rights and religious liberties.

Benson and Wise met after Benson's on-air announcement. Wise, who works as a consultant for the federal government, reached out to Benson seeking to reconcile being both conservative and gay. The couple became engaged in 2018 and married in September 2019 in Napa Valley, California.
