Guardians’ Gavin Williams Expected to Lead Team Past Rays in Game 3

Gavin Williams is slated to start for the Cleveland Guardians in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series against the Tampa Bay Rays. The game has been moved up to 1 p.m. in Cleveland, with Stitches, a handicapper for the New York Post, predicting Williams will help lead the Guardians to a victory.

Williams has previously shown strong outings against the White Sox, pitching 11⅔ innings and allowing two runs while striking out 24 batters. He will face Rays pitcher Griffin Jax.

The series has been affected by inclement weather, but the focus now shifts to Cleveland. A bet of $100 on Cleveland at -135 odds is recommended.

In other ALCS news, the Los Angeles Dodgers are facing a significant deficit in their series against the Milwaukee Brewers, losing Game 2 by a score of 6-2. Jackson Chourio hit a leadoff home run in that game.
