A wedding celebration in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was shattered by gunfire when a groomsman allegedly opened fire on two guests after being confronted about his eating manners. The incident occurred on June 20 at the Aria Business Center, with the suspect, Thomas Redrick Williams, 41, still at large.

Police were called to the venue and discovered a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. According to the criminal complaint, the altercation began when a female guest, identified as the bride's cousin, approached Williams in the kitchen. She reportedly asked him to use a plate while eating meatballs, as he was consuming them with his hands. Williams allegedly responded by punching the woman.

When the woman's brother-in-law intervened, Williams reportedly entered the fray and fired shots, striking the woman in the arm and leg and the man in the back of the neck. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Witnesses, including the bride, reportedly saw Williams flee the scene. The bride followed him to his car, attempting to prevent his escape by grabbing his key fob. Williams then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.

Law enforcement discovered a Taurus 9mm handgun, Williams' iPhone, and an envelope addressed to him inside the car, which is registered to his wife. Williams' wife stated that she and Williams had attended the wedding together, but he had dropped her off at home before returning to pick up her car.

Prosecutors have charged Williams with reckless injury with use of a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon, and bail jumping. Records indicate he was out on bond for a separate case at the time of the wedding shooting. As of Monday, he had not been apprehended.

Residents near the venue expressed dismay over the incident. "For a wedding to be shot up like that one was on up there on Fond Du Lac is ridiculous," one neighbor told local news station WISN. "A wedding day is supposed to be something that two people have to care and love each other, and for someone to disrupt that is disrupting a family."
