Gregg Wallace Shares Emotional Moment Seeing Daughter Libby in Her Wedding Dress

Proud father of the bride Gregg Wallace captured a heartwarming moment as he saw his daughter, Libby, for the first time in her wedding dress before she married her partner, Alex Marsden, on Saturday. The 29-year-old bride wore a white lace wedding dress and veil for the ceremony.

Wallace, 61, shared his joy and emotion in a video clip posted by Libby's makeup artist. As he entered the room and saw his daughter, he appeared visibly moved. "You look beautiful Libby!" he exclaimed, holding back tears and grasping her hands.

Libby, whose mother Denise Lovell passed away in 2017, is the daughter of Wallace and his second wife. He also has a 33-year-old son, Tom, from that marriage. Wallace's current wife, Anne, whom he married in 2016, is 22 years his junior, and they welcomed a son, Sid, in 2019.

The wedding took place in a countryside venue adorned with fairy lights and candles. Personalised napkins reading "Libby and Alex 10.10.2026" and a sign welcoming guests to "our next chapter" were part of the autumn celebration. The couple became engaged in Copenhagen in October 2024 after two years of dating.

Wallace, a former presenter for the BBC, notably known for shows like 'MasterChef' and 'Inside The Factory,' was dressed in a grey suit with brown suede shoes. He expressed his immense pride in his daughter, calling her "my beautiful and clever little girl." He indicated that more photographs from the event would be shared.

This occasion follows recent discussions by Wallace about his financial situation and property. He had put his £1 million mansion on the market, a move that occurred after his departure from 'MasterChef' following an investigation into workplace misconduct allegations. Despite placing the property for sale, Wallace stated he does not necessarily need to sell it, emphasizing his continued work through platforms like Cameo to manage his finances and pay bills. He has also spoken about potentially moving to a more affordable property, possibly in Italy, as part of a "new chapter," and plans to homeschool his young son, who is autistic and non-verbal.
