Radio DJ Greg James shared his experience attending Taylor Swift's wedding, describing the event as surreal and "absolutely mad." James, who flew to New York City for the ceremony, recounted the affair on his Wednesday morning show.

"It was unbelievably fun," James said, noting that he kept his attendance a secret from most friends and even his boss, taking annual leave to attend. He revealed that only his wife, Bella, who was also invited, knew about his plans.

Speculation has surrounded the wedding, with reports suggesting a guest list of 1,000 attendees from music, Hollywood, and sports. James described the gathering as a constant stream of famous individuals. "Every ten seconds it was a room full of the most famous people in the world," he recalled. "I just couldn't believe. It was like going to Madame Tussauds but the wax was animated and you could interact with the wax and it talked back to you, it was absolutely mad."

Last year, Swift had confirmed on Radio 1 during an interview with James that he would be invited to her wedding. Despite some uncertainty, including his speaking engagement at a podcast festival the day before, James confirmed his attendance via Instagram stories and a subsequent post showcasing his trip and behind-the-scenes photos.
