Greg James, host of the Radio 1 Breakfast Show, is continuing a weekend of events in New York City following his attendance at the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

James, who received an invitation to the event described as the "wedding of the century," attended with his wife, Bella Mackie. The ceremony reportedly had 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden. He had previously not confirmed his invitation but later shared details on social media.

On Monday, James skipped his Radio 1 show to remain in New York. He attended a Brazil vs. Norway World Cup match at the New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday, documenting his experience on Instagram. During the match, he humorously commented on Leonardo DiCaprio's presence in a hospitality box, noting that DiCaprio was at the soccer game but not at Swift's wedding.

"That's showbiz Leo!" James remarked to a fan who inquired about his experience at the wedding. DiCaprio was among a small number of high-profile individuals not present at Swift's wedding.

James's invitation to the wedding came months after Swift mentioned it during an interview on his Radio 1 show. When James expressed a desire to meet Kelce, Swift jokingly told him he would have the opportunity at the wedding and that he was "obviously" invited.

After his Radio 1 show on Friday, James had told listeners he was in Sheffield for his podcast tour. However, he reportedly flew to New York to attend Swift's evening nuptials. The following day, he posted on Instagram about experiencing a significant hangover and being overwhelmed with messages, confirming the invitation had arrived and describing the night as "unbelievably brilliant."

Swift and Kelce married on Friday in New York City. The couple announced their marriage with video advertisements that read "JUST&T MARRIED!" The guest list included numerous celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Steven Spielberg, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Brad Pitt, and Ed Sheeran. Other notable attendees included Karlie Kloss, who was seen with her husband Joshua Kushner, signaling a potential reconciliation after a past rumored feud. Blake Lively was reportedly not in attendance.
