GP Found Dead at Home, Husband Accused of Murder
Authorities discovered the body of Hannah Cain, known to patients as Dr. Hannah Terry, at her Norfolk residence.
The family of Hannah Cain, a general practitioner, has expressed profound grief following her death, which was discovered on Sunday morning at her home in Dersingham, Norfolk. Police have charged Mark Cain, 45, of Fern Hill in Dersingham, with her murder.
Mark Cain appeared before magistrates in Norwich and entered no plea. He is scheduled to appear before a judge on Thursday.
In a statement, Cain's family described her as "kind, generous and loving; a beloved mother, daughter, sister, auntie, daughter-in-law and friend." They added, "We are devastated by the loss of our beautiful Hannah." Patients knew her professionally as Dr. Hannah Terry, and her family noted their pride in the "great care she took of all her patients."
