Pet owners seeking to protect their furniture from shedding and accidents can now turn to the Gorilla Grip Sofa Cushion Cover Blanket. This product aims to provide a barrier between pets and couches, featuring a five-layer cushioning system designed for comfort.
The cover includes an absorbent top layer capable of holding up to 45 cups of liquid, intended to manage pet accidents. Its design incorporates thousands of silicone grip dots to prevent shifting on the couch. The plush exterior is constructed with tear-resistant microfibers, intended to withstand scratching.
Maintenance involves machine washing the cover between uses. The product is available for purchase on Amazon for under $50.
Customer reviews indicate satisfaction with the cover's ability to stay in place and its softness. One reviewer noted its effectiveness on a leather couch when a dog jumps up. Another user purchased multiple covers for a large sectional, citing their comfort and stability.
The New York Post, which featured the product, noted its potential to shield couches from excess dog hair and described it as a protective net for furniture.
