Chef Gordon Ramsay experienced a setback earlier this week when his rare Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta sustained a tire puncture while driving in Cornwall. The £1.6 million supercar, one of only 210 produced worldwide, was seen being loaded onto a recovery truck in Porth.

Ramsay was reportedly driving the pearl white vehicle near his Cornwall properties on Tuesday evening when the incident occurred. Eyewitnesses observed him pulling over after the puncture, with the car subsequently being collected by a trailer around 8:30 p.m.

The exact cause of the puncture is not confirmed, but it is suspected to be a result of one of Cornwall's numerous potholes, a common issue on the region's roads. Locals have commented on the challenges of navigating narrow country lanes with high-value vehicles.

The Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta is known for its performance, featuring a 6.3-liter V12 engine combined with an electric motor, producing 950bhp. It can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in under three seconds and has a top speed exceeding 215 mph. Ramsay was among the first purchasers of the model when it was released in 2016.

Ramsay is an avid car collector, with an estimated collection of 94 luxury vehicles, including other notable models such as an Aston Martin DB4 and a McLaren Senna. He also owns several properties in Cornwall.
