Republican Congressman Rich McCormick and GOP Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne have ended their relationship, a new report indicates. The two lawmakers, who began dating in May 2024 following their respective divorces, are reportedly no longer together.

It remains unclear when the split occurred, but sources close to the couple suggest there is no animosity between them. "I have a great relationship with her and will continue to strive to be the best friend I can be," McCormick, a Republican representing Georgia, told TMZ. Van Duyne, a Texas lawmaker, did not immediately respond to TMZ's request for comment.

The relationship between McCormick, 58, and Van Duyne, 55, was first revealed by the Daily Mail in May 2024. At the time, Van Duyne confirmed they were "happily" together. She noted that McCormick and his ex-wife were "incredible people" and that his marriage had been "over for quite some time." Van Duyne stated, "We're both parents of adult children and empty nesters. We are happily engaged in a relationship, and beyond that it's a personal issue."

McCormick filed for divorce from his wife of 12 years, Dr. Debra Miller, on May 3, 2024, shortly after beginning his first term in Congress. McCormick and Miller share seven children. Van Duyne divorced her ex-husband, Chris Wallach, with whom she had two children, in 2012 after 17 years of marriage.

The couple was frequently seen together on Capitol Hill, attending political and charitable events and often walking to and from votes as a pair. They were photographed sharing a kiss at last year's congressional baseball game.

McCormick divorced his ex-wife Debra Miller shortly after arriving to Washington, DC, during his first term in 2025.

Van Duyne, who has served on Capitol Hill since 2021, told the Daily Mail in May 2024 she and McCormick were "happily" in a relationship. Van Duyne, who has served on Capitol Hill since 2021, told the Daily Mail in May 2024 she and McCormick were 'happily' in a relationship
