Golfer Sahith Theegala Weds Influencer Julianna Chan in Hawaiian Ceremonies
The couple, college sweethearts from Pepperdine University, celebrated their union with events honoring their diverse heritage.

Professional golfer Sahith Theegala and influencer Julianna "Juju" Chan were married over the weekend in Hawaii, with ceremonies that honored both their heritages. The couple, who were college athletes at Pepperdine University, held a Hindu ceremony on October 23, followed by a Western ceremony on October 24 at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua.
The festivities incorporated Indian, Hindu, Chinese American, and Hawaiian traditions, drawing 115 guests including fellow professional golfer Akshay Bhatia and his wife Presleigh, Theegala’s caddie Carl Smith, and "Full Swing" producer Ella Briscoe.
A photographer captured the celebrations in a video showing a dance party held outdoors under sheer tents. Both the bride and groom wore custom Nike Air Force 1 sneakers. The bride's shoes were adorned with white pearls that read "Mrs Juju," while the groom's featured "Mr. Juju."
Theegala and Chan, who have been together for four years, became engaged in October 2025. They were friends for seven years before beginning their relationship in 2022. Theegala was a member of the golf team at Pepperdine, while Chan competed on the swim and dive team. Both also majored in sport administration.
"We have both spent a lot of time in Hawaii both together and growing up in California," Chan told People. "It is our favorite place in the world and we are so excited to be able to bring all our favorite people to our favorite place for this special week!"
The newlyweds expressed their excitement about growing together and starting a family. "I know Sahith is going to be the best dad and we are both feel really lucky to be able build a family together," Chan said.
