Goldburg Foundation Hosts 'At The Table' Dinner During NYFW to Combat Food Insecurity

The Goldburg Family Foundation, in partnership with WAVERS Crisps by DOUGHBRIK’S, hosted an intimate dinner event titled 'AT THE TABLE' on Wednesday, September 9, to coincide with New York Fashion Week. The dinner, held at Ketchy Shuby in New York City, aimed to draw attention to the ongoing issues of food insecurity and support the Foundation's initiatives.

The event was co-hosted by David Dobrik, co-founder of WAVERS, and Jack Goldburg, representing Jack's Dining Room. Its primary goals were to raise awareness for the Goldburg Family Foundation's food pantry, which provides meals to those in need, and its scholarship program, designed to assist underserved students.

Tomorrow’s Group managed the event from conception to execution, overseeing branding, guest list strategy, and public relations for all involved parties. Their involvement included promoting Dobrik, Jack's Dining Room, WAVERS, and the Foundation.

Attendees at the dinner included a diverse group of individuals from the realms of social media, sports, and entertainment. Notable guests included Dixie D'Amelio, Natalie Noel, Kendall Washington, Nicolas Vansteenberghe, Shiggy, New York Jets running back Breece Hall, Summer House stars Jesse Solomon and Ben Waddell, Zach Dereniowski, and Kit Keenan.

The evening commenced with a cocktail hour featuring WAVERS' new crisp flavors, followed by a family-style dinner. The menu included dishes such as Rigatoni Vodka, Roasted Chicken, and Miso-Glazed Salmon.

WAVERS Crisps were highlighted at the event, showcasing their new flavor lineup. The crisps are now made with avocado oil, are gluten-free, and are marketed as non-GMO. The new flavors include Late-Night Pizza, Spicy Pickle, Extra Cheesy, and Hot Honey, available in both U.S. and international packaging.

WAVERS' partnership with the Goldburg Family Foundation extends beyond this event, reflecting a broader commitment to community impact. The brand supports the Foundation's mission to provide food and resources to New York communities. The Foundation also participated in the Yes Chef Food Fest at Citi Field in late September.

The Goldburg Family Foundation's work continues year-round. Information about their food pantry and scholarship programs, as well as ways to contribute, can be found on their website.
